How does Thyroid Lymphoma present?

The disease is one of the elderly, and is more common in women than men. There is usually a story of a lump in the neck for many years that has suddenly enlarged. Many patients will be hypothyroid because of untreated Hashimoto's disease. As the disease progresses thereis pain, voice change and swallowing difficulty. The neck mass is hard and the local lymph glands may be enlarged.
